Pronabec announces extraordinary scholarship call for postgraduate studies abroad

The National Program of Scholarships and Educational Credit (Pronabec), under Peru's Ministry of Education, has announced an extraordinary call for the 2026 Bicentennial Generation Scholarship. The application period runs from October 30 to November 13, 2026.

The program is designed for Peruvian professionals with limited economic resources seeking to pursue master's or doctoral degrees at prestigious international universities. This specific extraordinary call offers 20 scholarships: 17 for master's programs and 3 for doctorates.

Beneficiaries will receive coverage for tuition, enrollment, degree attainment, and research work. Additionally, the scholarship covers essential living expenses, including housing, food, local transportation, medical insurance, and administrative costs. These benefits will be recognized starting January 1, 2027, even for those who have already begun their studies, though no credit will be given for time elapsed prior to that date.
