Pronabec to announce new Beca 18 scholarship winners

The National Program of Scholarships and Educational Credit (Pronabec), under the Ministry of Education, will publish the list of new winners for the Beca 18 2026 call on Monday, August 24. The selected individuals will be able to pursue professional careers with all academic and non-academic expenses covered by the state.

Successful applicants must formally accept the scholarship between August 25 and August 27 through the Integrated Scholarship and Credit System (Sibec) platform to secure their status as scholars. Notifications regarding selection status will be sent to applicants via their electronic mailboxes within the Sibec system.

The selection process is meritocratic and decentralized, utilizing scores from the National Preselection Exam, additional bonuses for vulnerability status, and preferences for careers with high labor demand to promote regional development.
