Sorocaba deploys mobile employment and consumer service units

The city of Sorocaba is deploying mobile service units to provide employment and consumer protection services across various neighborhoods from October 5 to 9.

The “Van do Emprego e Qualificação” (Employment and Qualification Van), managed by the Secretariat of Labor Relations and Professional Qualification, will visit seven locations. These sites include Cras Aparecidinha, Cras Nova Esperança, the Municipal Theater, SOS Vila Rica, Cras Laranjeiras, Cras Ipiranga, and the Santo Antônio Terminal. The unit offers job placement assistance and professional qualification services similar to those provided at the Casa do Trabalhador.

Simultaneously, the “Procon Móvel” unit will operate at four locations to assist with consumer rights, debt renegotiation, and the Overindebtedness Support Program (PAS). Scheduled stops include Praça Coronel Fernando Prestes, the Municipal Theater, Vila Hortência, and the São Paulo Terminal. These mobile services aim to increase accessibility for residents seeking legal guidance and economic support.
