Propeep launches social inclusion and infrastructure plan in Sánchez

The General Directorate of Strategic and Special Presidential Projects (Propeep) launched the ‘Primero Tú’ social inclusion program in the municipality of Sánchez, Samaná. Led by executive director Robert Polanco, the initiative provided hundreds of residents with health services, social assistance, guidance, and food supplies.

As part of a broader intervention plan, Propeep announced several infrastructure and community projects. These include the construction of four houses, roof replacements, and the renovation of four sports courts. Additionally, the plan involves the intervention of 32 pedestrian walkways and the distribution of sports equipment to local youth. These actions follow commitments made during the ‘Gobierno Contigo’ program and are being carried out in coordination with the Sánchez Mayor's Office and the Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Feeding (DASAC).
