Proper ventilation recommended for air conditioner outdoor units
Families installing air conditioner outdoor units on balconies or loggias are advised to ensure proper ventilation to maintain device efficiency. Because these units must continuously exchange heat with the environment, the surrounding space directly impacts operational performance.
Daikin Vietnam recommends that installation sites be open spaces where air can circulate freely. Obstructions such as large boxes, storage shelves, or potted plants placed directly in front of or above the unit can hinder the fan's ability to expel heat, thereby reducing cooling efficiency.
Additionally, users should be cautious of small debris like paper, plastic bags, or light household items. These objects can be sucked into the cooling fan, causing mechanical issues or further reducing heat dissipation capabilities. Maintaining a clear, unobstructed area around the unit is essential for safe and effective operation.
