Property Brothers promote return of vintage wood paneling

Interior design trends are shifting back toward vintage aesthetics, specifically the resurgence of wooden wall paneling. Designers Drew and Jonathan Scott, known as the ‘Property Brothers’, have launched a new line of wood panels to encourage homeowners to move away from flat paint and wallpaper in favor of warmer, retro textures.

Modern wood paneling offers functional advantages over previous eras, acting as a natural sound insulator. This makes it particularly suitable for home offices, music rooms, and large open spaces where reducing echo is a priority. Available finishes include oak, walnut, grey, and rustic wood styles.
