Property damage reported at luxury villa in Istria

Slovenian influencer and entrepreneur Katarina Benček has shared footage documenting extensive damage to her luxury villa in Galizana, near Pula, following its first full rental season. The property, owned by Benček and partner Marko Pavlović, was intended as an investment with weekly rental rates ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 euros.

Reported damages include broken glassware, destroyed garden furniture, damaged shutters, and a broken pool cleaning net. The most significant issue cited was damage to the kitchen island, which Benček described as the heart of the home. While the island itself cost approximately 4,500 euros, the damage to its surface is noted as difficult to repair. Marko Pavlović estimated the immediate physical damage at around 500 euros, plus an additional 1,000 euros for the kitchen island repairs.
