Narela property dealer shot dead outside gym

A property dealer was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside a gym in the Narela area of North Delhi on Thursday morning. The victim, identified as 42-year-old Pramod Dahiya (also referred to as Pramod Kumar), was a resident of Nahari village in the Sonipat district of Haryana.

The attack occurred around 7:00 a.m. while the victim was standing outside a fitness center. Reports indicate that assailants arriving on a scooter or motorcycle opened fire, with some accounts suggesting approximately 16 rounds were discharged. The attackers fled the scene immediately following the shooting.

Delhi police suspect the murder may be linked to an extortion attempt or an old personal rivalry. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects and establish the sequence of events. The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
