Props For A Purpose acquires first dedicated aircraft for humanitarian missions
Props For A Purpose, a U.S.-based nonprofit humanitarian aviation organization, has acquired its first dedicated aircraft through a 10-year lease. The aircraft, a twin-engine Tecnam P2012 Traveller named ‘Servant One’, was purchased by AeroSpring Leasing LLC for this purpose.
Founded in 2024 following devastating tornadoes near Nashville in late 2023, the organization coordinates approximately 300 humanitarian missions annually. While the group utilizes a nationwide network of roughly 500 volunteer pilots using privately owned aircraft, the addition of ‘Servant One’ provides enhanced capacity and flexibility.
The new aircraft will allow the organization to transport medical teams, patients, volunteers, and humanitarian supplies more efficiently without relying solely on the availability of volunteer-owned planes. The organization’s mission includes disaster relief, search and rescue, humanitarian aid, and animal rescue.
