Prosecutors seek rejection of Febrie Adriansyah's legal challenge

Prosecutors have requested that the Corruption Court judges reject a legal challenge filed by Febrie Adriansyah, the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. The challenge was submitted by Adriansyah and his legal team in response to indictments involving alleged extortion and money laundering.

During the hearing at the Jakarta Central District Court on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, prosecutors asked the panel of judges to dismiss the resistance note in its entirety and proceed to the next stage of the trial. They further requested that the court validate the existing indictments as a proper basis for the case examination.
