The Masked Singer returns for 13th season on ProSieben

The 13th season of the music guessing show ‘The Masked Singer’ is set to premiere on ProSieben on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The new season introduces several significant changes to the format, including a move from its traditional Saturday evening slot to Wednesday nights at 20:15. Additionally, the episodes will no longer be broadcast live but will be pre-recorded.

Matthias Opdenhövel returns as the host. The permanent judging panel will consist of Verona Pooth and comedian Chris Tall, who will be joined by rotating guest judges each week. In the upcoming season, 16 celebrities will compete behind various masks and costumes.

These changes come as the show attempts to address declining viewership numbers. The season is scheduled to run through October 21, 2026, with episodes airing weekly on ProSieben and streaming on Joyn.
