ProSieben launches new season of “Beauty & The Nerd”

ProSieben and its streaming partner Joyn will broadcast the sixth season of the reality series “Beauty & The Nerd” on Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 20:15 CET. The competition pits eight self‑described nerds – a wrestling fan, a cosplayer, an anime enthusiast, a survival‑lover, a tech‑designer, a cartoon‑comedian, a gamer and a comic‑shop owner – against a team of confident beauties. Over six weekly episodes the pairs must leave their comfort zones, with the winning team receiving a €50,000 cash prize and a full‑style makeover by fashion designer Kilian Kerner.

The eight contestants are Patrick (31, wrestling‑nerd from Zahna‑Elster), Sasha (23, cosplay‑nerd from Saarbrücken), Danny (21, anime‑nerd from Stuttgart), Sebastian (24, survival‑nerd from Garbsen), Nam (29, tech‑nerd from Hannover), Thesi (30, cartoon‑nerd from Kiel), Ricardo (27, gaming‑nerd from Dortmund) and Ben (29, comic‑nerd from Erfurt). The previous season attracted roughly 630 000 viewers and a double‑digit market share among its target audience, prompting the network to revive the format.
