ProSieben to air Amazon adventure documentary featuring Lilly Becker

The German broadcaster ProSieben and streaming service Joyn have announced a new adventure documentary titled ‘Surviving Amazonas – Die Prüfung der Shanenawa’. The series features eight celebrities who spent ten days immersed in the life of the Shanenawa indigenous people in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.

Participants include model Lilly Becker, comedian Parshad Esmaeili, musician Joey Kelly, and fitness influencer Willi Banner, alongside Gina Rühl, Antonia Hemmer, Lézan, and How2Shirli. The production, filmed in autumn 2025, aims to present a transformative experience rather than a traditional reality show, focusing on the participants adhering to the rituals and natural principles of the tribe.

The ten-episode series is scheduled to premiere on September 8, airing in double episodes on Joyn and on Tuesday nights on ProSieben.
