Prospice horror driving simulator launches open playtest, set for 2027 release

Indie publishers Forklift Interactive and Code Wakers announced their new horror‑driving simulation, *Prospice: Anomaly Exploration Simulator*. The game, inspired by titles such as MudRunner, DEATH STRANDING, and Deus Ex, places players on a cursed island marked by the remains of ancient gods. Players must transport mysterious cargo across treacherous off‑road terrain, manage limited fuel, and collect artifacts while avoiding an unseen danger.

A public open playtest began on Steam on 29 July 2026, allowing anyone to experience the single‑player survival and exploration mechanics. The developers confirmed a full release is planned for 2027, with Japanese language support slated for the final product. The announcement highlighted features such as vehicle upgrades, on‑foot exploration, and a unique art style that blends horror with driving simulation.
