Protest exhibition held at Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Gymnasium in Novi Sad

A protest photography exhibition titled "Osvetli i ti" (You Light It Up Too) was held in front of the Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Gymnasium in Novi Sad. The exhibition features photographs from various protests supporting teachers and students, as well as images from the blockade of the school building.

The school, the oldest gymnasium in Novi Sad, has not been able to hold regular classes for nearly two years. During the gathering, suspended Serbian language and literature teacher Rima Grujić spoke about the duty of educators to protect students and the perceived injustices facing the faculty. She stated, "You can try to take our building... you can suspend us... but one thing you cannot do—you cannot force us to renounce the truth and the children for whom we exist as teachers."

Participants used mobile phone lights to illuminate the displayed photographs, which were captured by several photographers including Relja Kanović and Vladimir Papuga.
