Protest held in El Dorado for four missing men from Ixtlahuaca

Family and friends of four young men from Ixtlahuaca, State of Mexico, held a protest at the El Dorado toll booth to demand progress in the investigation into their disappearances. The individuals—Óscar García Hernández, Omar Alexis Ramírez Sabino, Javier Ramírez Sabino, and Gregorio Ramírez Sabino—went missing on February 3 during a trip to Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

The group was part of a larger party of six people reported missing following an alleged deprivation of liberty. While a woman and a child from the group were later located in the El Habal community, the whereabouts of the four men remain unknown seven months later. The disappearance was linked to the rental of four ATVs, which were later found abandoned after GPS tracking alerted the rental company to their location.
