Protestant Church Districts in Cologne launch donation appeal

The Protestant Church Districts of Cologne-Rechtsrheinisch and Cologne-Linksrheinisch have launched the 2026/2027 Diakonie donation appeal to support their counseling services. The funds are intended to assist individuals and families facing challenges such as family conflicts, separation, custody issues, grief, and unexpected pregnancies.

Donations will specifically target the expansion of services for children and adolescents. Key objectives include increasing counseling availability through partnerships with school social work and special education schools, establishing a second support group for children in difficult life situations, and increasing staff hours. Additionally, funds will be used to better equip three children's therapy rooms with specialized play, therapy, and creative materials.
