Protesters prevent Vox political event in Santiago

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Santiago last week to prevent a scheduled event by the Vox political party at a local sociocultural center. Demonstrators, chanting “Fuera fascistas de nuestros centros” (Fascists out of our centers), successfully prevented the event from taking place.

The incident has raised discussions regarding the distinction between democratic protest and censorship.
