Global protests intensify against Israeli military actions in Gaza

Protests against Israeli military actions in Gaza and the West Bank have intensified across multiple regions. In Geneva, Switzerland, thousands of demonstrators marched through the city center, calling for an end to what they described as genocide and urging international sanctions against Israel. Protesters also criticized the Swiss and US governments for their perceived inaction.

In Stockholm, Sweden, hundreds gathered at Odenplan Square to protest air strikes in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Activists demanded that the Swedish government cease arms sales to Israel, citing the destruction of hospitals and schools and the ongoing food crisis.

In Turkey, organized demonstrations continue to highlight the humanitarian crisis. In Erzurum, medical professionals and students held their 151st weekly silent march, walking from Lalapaşa Mosque to Yakutiye Medrese to raise awareness. Meanwhile, in Ankara, the Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFİDAP) announced a series of events, including a large-scale march from Kocatepe Mosque to Melike Hatun Mosque on October 7, and planned demonstrations at the US Embassy to protest the lack of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza.
