Protests for Palestine scheduled in Trapani and Elba

Various Italian locations are organizing public demonstrations on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as part of a global mobilization day in support of Palestine.

In Trapani, a rally is scheduled for 6:00 PM in Piazza Saturno. The event is promoted by a coalition of political, trade union, and social organizations, including CGIL, Emergency, Fridays for Future, and several political parties such as the Democratic Party and Movimento 5 Stelle. Organizers are calling for an immediate ceasefire and freedom for Palestine.

On the island of Elba, the collective Elba4Gaza has organized a demonstration at 3:30 PM in Piazza Gaza, located in front of the Alto Fondale pier in Portoferraio. The group aims to maintain public attention on the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, citing ongoing destruction, displacement, and food insecurity.
