Protests in Val di Zena and endurance race in Cuneo

In Val di Zena, residents held a protest at the Ponte del Farneto to demand improved territorial security and structural interventions against hydrogeological risks following recent floods. Organized by the Comitato Val di Zena, the demonstration featured banners and slogans criticizing regional authorities for perceived negligence. Participants specifically highlighted the poor condition of the Sp36 Jussi road and called for a programmed maintenance plan to secure the entire valley, noting the absence of local mayors from San Lazzaro di Savena and Pianoro.

In Cuneo, the fourth edition of the ‘Sei per Sempre’ endurance event concluded at the Parco Fluviale. The competition saw 52 athletes and approximately 100 non-competitors participate in a circuit completed every hour. Stefano Gusto set a new absolute record by completing 28 laps (168 km), while Francesca Ferraro won the women’s category with 25 laps (150 km). The event raised 650 euros for the association ‘La Cura nello Sguardo’.
