Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani appoints two vice presidents

Bernardo Lodispoto, President of the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani (BAT), has appointed two vice presidents: Pasquale Di Noia, representing the center-right, as his vicar, and Lucia Marzia Bucci, an independent formerly of the center-left, who will oversee public education and social policies.

Michele Lamacchia, Secretary of the Democratic Party (PD) for BAT, criticized the appointments, describing them as lacking political vision or consensus and serving only personal ambitions. Lamacchia argued that the province cannot be effectively managed without a clear majority or shared vision with local mayors, particularly regarding critical issues such as road safety, environmental protection, school facilities, and services for vulnerable citizens.
