Province of Teramo proposes structural reforms for anti-violence centers

The Province of Teramo has presented seven structural proposals in Rome aimed at transforming the fight against gender-based violence into long-term, stable measures. Developed by the Province's Equal Opportunities Commission in collaboration with the University of Teramo, the initiative seeks to move beyond annual funding models toward multi-year financial and organizational stability.

The proposals aim to establish anti-violence centers as essential services with homogeneous assistance standards across Italy. Key objectives include ensuring complete protection for victims throughout the judicial process to prevent secondary victimization and providing adequate accompaniment and protection tools.
