Province of Treviso allocates 500,000 euros for ditch maintenance

The Province of Treviso has launched a new call for proposals aimed at municipal administrations to support environmental management and the maintenance of ditches within the minor hydrographic network. A total of 500,000 euros has been allocated to help reduce hydraulic risk and protect water resources, biodiversity, and the landscape.

Participating municipalities can receive a contribution of up to 80% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per administration. Applications must be submitted by November 30. President of the Province of Treviso, Marco Donadel, stated that proper maintenance is an effective form of prevention to mitigate the effects of climate change and prevent complex emergencies.
