Provincial Rehabilitation Center in Tierra del Fuego exceeds 60,000 services

The Provincial Rehabilitation Center (CPR) in Tierra del Fuego has reached a milestone, recording 60,904 services during its second year of operation between July 2025 and August 2026. This represents an increase from the 55,667 services provided during its inaugural year.

Health authorities reported that there is currently no waiting list for adult patients. The center provides specialized care for pediatric and adult patients, including neurological, traumatological, and obesity programs, as well as adapted physical activity and pool services. Additionally, the Day Hospital completed its first year of operation, treating 24 patients.

Omar De Luca, Secretary of Rehabilitation Program Management, noted that the center allows residents to receive treatment within the province, preventing the need to relocate away from their families for medical care.
