Provão Paulista: Exam dates and course selection details

The Provão Paulista Seriado, a continuous assessment system created by the Government of São Paulo, is approaching its next application phase. High school seniors will sit for the exams on November 4 and 5.

This examination serves as a gateway to prestigious public universities, including the University of São Paulo (USP), Unicamp, and Unesp. For the 2026 cycle, 15,819 vacancies are being offered. Students in their third year of high school must also complete an essay as part of the process.

The program is designed for students in state, municipal, and federal public networks, as well as ETEC and EJA students. While São Paulo state public school students are enrolled automatically, those from public schools in other states must register manually. Following the exams, students have until November 27 to select the specific courses for which they wish to compete for a spot.
