Proyecto A performs for 75,000 at Bogotá's Festival de Verano

Venezuelan salsa group Proyecto A performed before an estimated 75,000 people at the Festival de Verano in Bogotá, Colombia. Organized by Olímpica Stereo, the event is traditionally dominated by popular music, vallenato, and champeta, making Proyecto A the only international salsa act invited to the showcase.

The group's performance follows a successful promotional tour through several Colombian cities, including Medellín, Cali, and Barranquilla. Their success in the region is supported by five tracks currently topping Colombian radio charts, including ‘Renuncio’, a salsa adaptation of a work by the late composer Omar Geles.

With over 20 years of career history, the orchestra has announced they are currently preparing new musical releases.
