ProZero Ghana launches maritime training for composite boat building
ProZero Ghana Limited has completed a Training of Trainers Programme focused on modern composite boat building to bolster Ghana’s maritime industry. The initiative targeted instructors from technical institutions in Tema and Takoradi to develop local expertise in building, maintaining, and engineering modern vessels.
The program was organized by ProZero Ghana Limited in partnership with the Ghana Employers’ Association, with support from the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), the Confederation of Danish Industry, and the Government of Denmark.
Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Clement Abas Apaak stated that the training aims to equip Ghanaian youth with industry-relevant skills, promoting technology transfer, improved safety standards, and local manufacturing capacity. By training instructors, the initiative seeks to create a sustainable knowledge base that can eventually reach thousands of learners across various technical institutions.
