Prudential Hong Kong expands Taikoo Place office footprint

Prudential Hong Kong Limited has signed an agreement with Swire Properties to expand its office space at Taikoo Place. The expansion will bring the insurer’s total footprint in the district to approximately 83,000 square feet.

Under the new arrangement, Prudential will consolidate its operations within One Taikoo Place and One Island East. The company has maintained a presence in the Taikoo Place district since 2011. Lawrence Lam, CEO of Prudential Hong Kong Limited, stated that the move reflects confidence in Hong Kong’s prospects and addresses the rising demand for wealth, protection, and health solutions.

This expansion is part of a HK$100 billion investment plan by Swire Properties for Taikoo Place, which aims to serve corporate clients from Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas. The development reinforces Taikoo Place’s status as a major insurance hub on Hong Kong Island.
