Prudential partners with MediConCen and Mastercard for digital healthcare

Prudential Hong Kong has announced a collaboration with InsurTech startup MediConCen and payment provider Mastercard to enhance its Medical Expenses Direct Billing Service. The partnership utilizes MediConCen technology to integrate medical appointment booking, expense pre-authorisation, and B2B payments via Mastercard virtual cards.

The digital journey aims to provide a seamless experience for eligible customers, allowing for instant doctor booking and expense settlement without requiring upfront payments for approved medical costs. Chiron Medical Group has joined as the inaugural provider partner for the initial phase of the rollout. The platform is expected to expand to include more clinics, hospitals, and medical networks across Hong Kong in the coming months.
