Prudential reduces Microsoft stake, Parnassus raises Apple holdings

Prudential PLC sold 19,692 shares of Microsoft Corp., trimming its position by 2.8% in the fourth quarter. After the sale the fund holds 694,707 Microsoft shares worth approximately $335.97 million, representing about 2.7% of Prudential’s portfolio and its fifth‑largest holding.

Parnassus Investments LLC increased its Apple Inc. position by 43% in the fourth quarter, adding 1,518,322 shares. The investor now owns 5,049,172 Apple shares valued at roughly $1.37 billion, accounting for 3.6% of its holdings and also ranking as its fifth‑largest position.
