Prudential Singapore to expand advisory services with unit trusts

Prudential Singapore has announced that it will expand its advisory services by allowing its tied-agency financial representatives to distribute unit trusts starting in 2027. Currently, these wealth accumulation products are only available through the company’s dedicated financial advisory arm, Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore (PFA).

The expansion aims to provide more holistic financial advice, enabling customers to manage protection, health, savings, and retirement wealth planning in a single conversation. This move will make unit trusts accessible to all 5,400 of the company’s tied agency financial representatives. Prudential is the first life insurer in Singapore to enable its tied-agency force to distribute such products.
