Prundu Bârgăului library modernized into digital hub

The Prundu Bârgăului library in Bistrița-Năsăud has been renovated and modernized as part of a larger project to transform rural libraries into digital skill development hubs. The initiative, funded through the PNRR, involved an investment of over 3.27 million lei and aimed to support 13 rural libraries across the county.

Mayor Doru Crișan noted that the project was ambitious and faced complex procedures and strict deadlines. The newly renovated space, which functions as both a library and a media center, is designed to provide the community with modern access to information and digital education.
