Prusa Research refreshes 3D printer lineup with XL+ and CORE One+

Prusa Research has refreshed its desktop 3D printer lineup, introducing the Prusa XL+, CORE One L+, and CORE One+ (Gen 2). These updates aim to improve print preparation, surface quality, and maintenance through features such as integrated nozzle wipers and new GT1.5 belts.

The Prusa XL+ features a redesigned 360-degree part cooling system and a new eddy-current Tool Offset Sensor, which reportedly makes multi-tool calibration approximately 20 times faster than previous methods. The machine also includes high-flow nozzles as standard.

Additionally, the company is rolling out the INDX system, available via conversion kits for existing CORE One owners or as part of the new CORE One+ (Gen 2) models. The INDX system supports multi-material printing with up to eight independent tools, significantly reducing filament waste and eliminating the need for traditional purge towers. Tool changes with this system take approximately 12 seconds, and material loss during setup is reduced to roughly 13 milligrams.
