Prysmian completes $3.8 billion acquisition of Atkore
Prysmian has completed its acquisition of Atkore for approximately $3.8 billion, or €3.3 billion. The deal, valued at $95 per share in cash, results in Atkore becoming a wholly owned subsidiary and delisting from the New York Stock Exchange.
Following the merger, Prysmian announced a new manufacturing representative network designed to serve the U.S. industrial and construction markets. This network integrates legacy representatives from Prysmian, Encore Wire, and Atkore to provide a unified portfolio of electrical solutions, including conduits, cable management systems, and plastic pipes.
Prysmian expects to realize approximately $150 million in annual pretax synergies within three years. The company projects high single-digit earnings-per-share accretion in the first full year, potentially rising to double digits once synergies are fully realized. Atkore, which generated $2.85 billion in revenue in fiscal 2025, will be fully consolidated into Prysmian’s financial results starting in November 2026.
