Przemysław Czarnek and Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska engage in heated exchange

A verbal confrontation occurred in the Sejm corridors between Law and Justice (PiS) Vice President Przemysław Czarnek and TVN24 journalist Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska. The dispute arose following media questions regarding protests in front of the Constitutional Tribunal.

During the exchange, Czarnek criticized TVP, labeling it an ‘anti-Polish incitement machine’ and accusing the broadcaster of spreading falsehoods regarding an incident involving a knife attack on police officers. When Kolenda-Zaleska intervened to question the manner in which he addressed a fellow journalist, Czarnek maintained his stance, asserting his right to freedom of speech and claiming that the era of TVN restricting such freedoms is nearing its end.

Kolenda-Zaleska accused the politician of insulting people, while Czarnek defended his comments as stating the truth regarding perceived lies in media reporting.
