Písek primary school opens new facility extension

The Edvard Beneš Primary School in Písek has completed a new extension designed to improve school facilities. The project, costing over 23 million CZK, includes an expanded kitchen and dining area that increased capacity from 120 to 190 seats.

In addition to the dining hall, the three-story building provides new spaces for the school club, a counseling center, and practice kitchens where students can learn basic cooking skills. The expansion was implemented largely during the school year, with the most critical dining and kitchen components becoming operational by September 1.
