PSG battles injuries as Champions League final approaches Arsenal

Paris Saint‑Germain are coping with a spate of injuries ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal at the Puskás Arena in Budapest on 31 May. Forward Ousmane Dembele is sidelined with a calf problem after being withdrawn in a Ligue 1 match, while defender Achraf Hakimi is returning from a three‑week thigh injury. Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes have also resumed training after missing the semifinal, and backup goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier and winger Quentin Ndjato are recovering from minor issues. Coach Luis Enrique said Dembele is “fine” and hopes the injuries are not serious, while the team may stage an internal practice match to keep players sharp.

Arsenal, fresh from securing the Premier League title, have a relatively healthier squad but also monitor Jurrien Timber’s recovery, with Ben White confirmed absent and Mikel Merino still in doubt. Both clubs are preparing for the showdown, the first Champions League final for Arsenal and a chance for PSG to cap a dominant domestic season.
