Paris Saint‑Germain set for Champions League final against Arsenal

Paris Saint‑Germain, coached by Luis Enrique, reached a second consecutive UEFA Champions League final after eliminating Monaco, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. The club will meet Arsenal at the Puskás Arena in Budapest on 30 May 2026.

Enrique, whose contract was extended to 2030 with a reported €20 million annual salary – making him the highest‑paid person at the club – has overseen a transformation that has turned the competition into a major revenue source, estimated at about €100 million per campaign. The Champions League run helped lift PSG’s market valuation to €4.525 billion, ranking it eighth among European clubs.

The final will be the first in 34 years not offered free‑to‑air in the UK; fans must subscribe to TNT Sports (or a month‑long HBO Max plan). PSG’s global social‑media following exceeds 200 million across platforms, and in Peru the match is expected to drive a 15 % rise in food‑delivery orders, especially burgers and pizza, according to PedidosYa data.
