PSI strengthens organizational structure in West Sumatra for 2029 elections
The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) is focusing on organizational expansion and recruitment in West Sumatra to prepare for the 2029 elections. During a consolidation meeting in Padang, PSI Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali emphasized that the party must adopt a “super open” approach to attract regional figures, youth, and diverse community members to strengthen its organizational base.
Regional leadership, including West Sumatra DPW Chairman Hendrajoni, stated that the party aims to move beyond being mere participants in political contests. The goal is to place cadres in legislative seats and regional government positions. To achieve this, the party intends to focus on continuous consolidation, cadre training, and building closer ties with the public to demonstrate that politics can drive positive change.
