PSIM Jogja defeats Deltras FC 2-0 during squad launch

PSIM Jogja secured a 2-0 victory against Deltras FC in a friendly match held at Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul. The match served as part of the club's official squad and jersey launch for the upcoming 2026/2027 Super League season. Ezequiel “Pulga” Vidal scored both goals for PSIM, finding the net in the fourth minute and again in the fourteenth minute.

Ahead of the match, PSIM Jogja management and head coach Jean-Paul Van Gastel met with the Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, at the Kepatihan Complex. Van Gastel expressed that meeting the Sultan was a great honor, comparing the experience to meeting royalty in his native Netherlands and noting his appreciation for the historical heritage of the Yogyakarta Palace.
