PSMS Medan defeats Persiku Kudus 6-0 in home opener

PSMS Medan secured a dominant 6-0 victory against Persiku Kudus in their first home match of the season at the Stadion Utama Sumut Sport Centre in Deliserdang. The team, known as Ayam Kinantan, displayed aggressive play from the start, scoring five goals in the first half and adding one more in the second half.

M Mahfullah Daulay, the Head of the North Sumatra Youth and Sports Office, expressed admiration for the performance, noting that the new pitch may have contributed to the team's improved play. He expressed hope that the club maintains this consistency to achieve their goal of promotion to Liga 1.

PSMS Medan coach Eko Purdjianto urged his players to remain focused and avoid complacency despite the large margin of victory, emphasizing the need to win every match in the long Liga 2 season.
