PSOE Ciudad Real proposes social services information campaign
The PSOE Municipal Group in Ciudad Real has presented two motions for the August ordinary plenary session aimed at improving citizen life and addressing the situation in Ceuta.
Sara Martínez, the spokesperson for the Socialist Group, proposed a municipal information campaign regarding social services. The motion requests 15,000 euros from the surplus budget to create accessible materials that explain available resources, eligibility, and application processes. The goal is to ensure citizens do not face barriers due to bureaucracy or lack of information.
Martínez criticized the current administration under Francisco Cañizares, alleging a progressive deterioration of municipal social services over the last three years. She cited difficulties in accessing initial care, staff reductions, delays, and unreceived aid, despite the city possessing qualified professionals and facilities.
