PSOE defends 5.7 million euro investment in Cuenca rural roads

The PSOE in Cuenca has defended an unprecedented investment in rural roads across the province, totaling more than 5.7 million euros. Ángel Tomás Godoy, the party's Secretary of Organization, detailed that the funds are distributed among repairs for roads damaged by the Dana weather event (1.5 million euros), land consolidation projects (1.6 million euros), and a new round of aid launched on August 21 (2.7 million euros).

Godoy noted that the new aid program includes administrative simplification to assist smaller municipalities with limited technical resources. He highlighted that under the presidency of Emiliano García-Page, the region has expanded its road maintenance from 33 kilometers in 14 municipalities to over 2,600 kilometers across more than 900 population centers.
