Spain: Municipalities implement urban and administrative updates

Various Spanish municipalities are implementing urban development and administrative updates. In Zamora, renovation works have begun in the Los Llanos industrial estate, with a budget of one million euros dedicated to sidewalk repairs, road paving, and LED lighting upgrades.

In Marín, local authorities are negotiating with the Defense Housing Institute (Invied) regarding state-owned plots in the Virxe do Carme neighborhood to coordinate urban planning and regeneration projects funded by EU Feder funds. Meanwhile, Madrid has launched urban regeneration works in Puente de Vallecas near Calle de Ibor, investing 3.7 million euros to improve accessibility and green spaces.

Other regional developments include the installation of a new General Auditor in Carboneras to stabilize municipal administration, and the promotion of industrial construction methods in Valencia to increase affordable housing supply. In Barakaldo, the 'Viernes Flamencos' cultural cycle celebrates its 30th anniversary with an immersive exhibition. Conversely, in Paterna de Rivera, the PSOE has denounced the neglected state of a future industrial estate, calling for government accountability.
