PSOE faces vandalism and online harassment in Spain

The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) is facing multiple incidents of targeted attacks and harassment across different regions. In Úbeda, Jaén, the party headquarters was vandalized with graffiti referencing the King of Morocco, an act condemned by organization secretary Víctor Torres as an attempt to undermine democratic coexistence.

In Andalusia, María Márquez, the vice-secretary general of the PSOE-A, has announced legal action following a wave of sexist and degrading insults directed at her on social media. Márquez stated she intends to pursue the perpetrators to combat digital impunity, receiving support from regional leader María Jesús Montero and the Minister of Equality.

Additionally, the PSOE in Estepona, Málaga, faced a controversy after mistakenly reporting that its headquarters had been vandalized. The party later clarified that the image used to claim the attack was actually generated by Artificial Intelligence, though local leaders noted that the office frequently suffers from minor vandalism such as insults and spitting.
