PSOE proposes progressive free university tuition in Castilla y León

The Socialist Parliamentary Group (PSOE) has proposed a new initiative in Castilla y León to progressively extend free university tuition to all courses. Unlike previous proposals that only covered the first year, this plan aims to include entire degree programs, including longer tracks such as Medicine.

Spokesperson Iñaki Gómez stated the goal is to provide an incentive for families and prevent the loss of local talent to other regions. The proposal suggests that tuition exemptions should be applied based on academic performance and the difficulty of the specific degree.
