Llanos Massó faces complaint for allegedly slandering Pedro Sánchez

The PSPV-PSOE has filed a formal complaint with the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Valencia against Llanos Massó, the President of Les Corts Valencianes and a member of Vox. The complaint alleges a crime of public slander following a post on the social network X, in which Massó referred to Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez as a "capo de la mafia corrupta" (boss of the corrupt mafia).

The socialist party argues that these expressions violate articles 208 and 209 of the Penal Code by attacking the honor and dignity of a specific individual. The PSPV emphasizes that Massó holds the position of the second highest institutional authority in the Valencian Community and asserts that political criticism should not be used as a cover for personal insults that degrade public institutions.
