Ponferrada bicycle parking controversy and Valencia corruption allegations

In Ponferrada, the PSOE group has criticized the municipal government for the perceived abandonment of a closed bicycle and electric scooter parking network. The socialists claim that despite an investment exceeding 39,500 euros—funded in part by EU Next Generation funds—the infrastructure remains non-operational. The expenditures included design, painting, access systems, and technical mobility studies.

In Valencia, political tensions have escalated as the PSPV-PSOE announced plans to submit a dossier regarding alleged corruption involving the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, to the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. Diana Morant, the socialist secretary general, cited the gravity of the findings as the reason for the legal action.

In response, the regional government's spokesperson, Miguel Barrachina, dismissed the dossier due to its anonymous nature and accused the PSPV of acting out of political desperation. While the socialistas seek legal scrutiny, the President of the Generalitat has maintained a stance of personal and political calm.
