PSS Sleman defeats PSM Makassar 3-0 in Super League

PSS Sleman secured a 3-0 victory against PSM Makassar at Maguwoharjo Stadium during the 2026/2027 Super League season. The win marks PSS Sleman's first home victory of the season, moving them to 12th place in the standings with 3 points, while PSM Makassar remains in 15th place with 2 points.

Hiromu Tanaka led the offensive effort by scoring two goals, opening the scoring in the 34th minute following an assist from Gustavo Tocantins and adding a second in the 85th minute. Matheus Fornazari completed the scoring with a header during stoppage time.

Defensively, Claudio Mutzi played a key role in neutralizing PSM Makassar's wing attacks. Filling in at right-back due to injuries to Saiful Djoge and Stefan Ashkovski, Mutzi focused on intercepting passing lanes to disrupt the momentum of PSM's attackers, Rizky Eka Pratama and Victor Luiz. Rizky Eka Pratama was eventually substituted for Gala Pagamo in the first half after a collision during play.
